Air Pollution Control Equipment

201

There are numerous air pollution control equipment that can help you to reduce air pollution within the factories.

BAG FILTER

MEPL is engaged in manufacturing a wide array of Air Pollution Control Equipment which is used to control increasing air pollution. This equipment filters the contaminated air and provides fresh air. The assortment of this equipment is widely demanded in industries such as Cement, Steel, Power, Sugar & Distilleries, Paper & Pulp, and chemicals.

Bag Filters ensure recovery of particulate substance from the exhaust gas is essential for two aspects of the industry i.e. to avoid the problem of pollution and recovery of finished products raising the plant yield.

Features

  •  Top Quality Media
  •  Easy removal of bags for cleaning
  •  Tailored to suit customer requirement
  •  Temperature range from -35°C to 400°C
  •  Various options of filter media to suit the process
  •  Designed to operate at lower pressure drop thus reducing the power requirement

VENTURI SCRUBBER

Venturi scrubbers are used for the removal of fine particulate from a gas stream. Often these venturi scrubbers have a double function:
cooling of the gases, and the removal of particulate.

A venturi scrubber is typically used when a cyclone will not give enough efficiency. Venturi systems are typically used in applications with a particle size of 6 microns and smaller.

Fixed throat venturi systems can be used for applications with constant gas flows. For fluctuating gas flows, variable throat venturi systems are typically supplied.

PACKED TOWER SCRUBBER

Scrubber systems are a diverse group of air pollution control devices that can be used to remove some particulates and/or gases from industrial exhaust streams. “Scrubber” is a pollution control device that uses liquid to wash unwanted pollutants from a gas stream. Scrubbers are one of the primary devices that control gaseous emissions, especially acid gases, Fumes. Industrial Scrubbers can also be used for heat recovery from hot gases by flue gas condensation. Scrubbers are used for scrubbing the obnoxious fumes such as silicon tetrafluoride, HNO3, HCl, NH3, Phosphoric acid, superphosphate & Fluorine. Manufacturing using quality R.M these are available in various dimensions & specifications. As per the client requirement, these systems can also be used for the recovery of the products.

Basic Scrubber Configuration

  •  Spray nozzle scrubbers – water is sprayed with high pressure through nozzles to produce the droplets in the air
  •  Venturi scrubbers – air or gas velocity is increased through a venturi shape – increased turbulence atomize the water droplets
  •  Packed bed scrubbers – air passes through wet-laden fiber mats where mists are collected. Not suited if solid particles are present in the air since the fiber mats may plug
  •  Combination Venturi-cum-packed bed Scrubbers
  •  Cyclone Scrubbers
  •  Impingement-plate scrubber – vertical scrubber with horizontal plates, air flows from bottom to top, water flows from top to bottom

CYCLONE & MULTI CYCLONE SEPARATOR

Multi cyclone dust collector & Multi cyclone separator works on the same principle as single cyclone dust collector using inertia & Centrifugal force forming dual vortex to separate heavier dust from dust-laden gas. The efficiency of cyclone separators in collecting finer dust highly depends on the number of centrifugal forces created and longer residence time to allow more dust to settle down. These two factors increase the better separation of particles. The centrifugal force can be increased by reducing the cyclone diameter and the residence time can be increased by increasing the cone height. To match with airflow requirements and optimal pressure drop, a large number of thinner and longer cyclones are arranged in parallel and combining all inlets into one common inlet and all outlets into one common outlet. The pressure drop of Multicyclone is comparably higher than a single cyclone of the same CFM but this higher pressure drop yields higher efficiency.
